The blend is then emboldened by an un-aged, funky pot still Jamaican rum and an un-aged blend of various lighter Caribbean rums. Silver Blend # V offers a tantalizing array of vibrant tropical fruit and citrus aromas, followed by more subtle, nuanced notes of the aged rums.

Progress Rum’s Aged Blend # III is an exquisite combination of four unique rum styles, each bringing its own special character to the spirit. The blend begins with a delicate and herbal 5-year-old Dominican Rum, distilled from fermented sugarcane juice. This is followed by 5-year-old Venezuelan and Bajan Rum, both distilled from fermented molasses.
The Venezuelan rum offers light floral notes while the stronger Bajan rum adds a touch of dry spice. The final addition is a robust 3-year-old Jamaican Rum, distilled in the traditional Jamaican style, which adds an intense depth and richness.
On the nose, Aged Blend # III opens with a subtle bouquet of floral notes, gradually revealing bolder fruit notes and hints of oak- derived from its careful aging. On the palate, it evolves into a complex tapestry of flavors, such as dark chocolate, dried fruits, and spice, which culminate in a smooth, lingering finish.
